We are a family of dog lovers, cat lovers, chicken & duck lovers… ok we do love animals and we know how important it is to have all the members of your family with you. We are delighted to welcome well behaved dogs (with their well-behaved owners) to Otterburn.
DOGS
You will love our dog friendly cottage at Otterburn, Melvaig near Gairloch. Our area is a doggy paradise and there are numerous walks in the area perfect for walking your dog. Dog friendly cottages
The garden at Otterburn is fully enclosed. Dogs are welcome downstairs but not permitted on any of the furniture or upstairs in the cottages. Dog friendly cottages
We provide water and food bowls and a ‘doggy towel’ for drying of the dog. We will even provide some emergency poop bags in case you forget yours and give you some time to buy more.
We provide details on vets in the area where to buy pet supplies. We have a booklet of maps with local walks which you and your doggy best friend can enjoy.
If you choose to stay at Otterburn with your dog you are agreeing to our booking form terms and conditions. (Failure to comply will unfortunately result in the loss of your security deposit and possible impact our welcome to dog owners in the future.)
- Please be aware that ticks are prevalent in the area. We do recommend that you treat your dog for fleas and ticks before arrival at Otterburn.
- Please be aware of the Scottish Doggy Access Code.
